DEB Construction recently completed a ground-up for a large American bank in Palm Desert. This 5,000 SF one story Branch included new ATA machines located in the vestibule and in the drive through lanes. The bank building is surrounded with new sidewalk, parking lot, palm trees, and landscape. The site work was contracted through Developer and Landlord Passco Development.
Project challenges included Utility Company changes and 25 pages of County conditional items to be signed off before granting the certificate of occupancy.
Despite challenges, DEB Construction received the Certificate of Occupancy final inspection for both interior and exterior one week before the bank turn over day (BTO). DEB received a 100% SRA (site readiness assessment) score from the Bank.
DEB Construction, LLC. was awarded this project after Thanksgiving 2014 and had 13 weeks to complete the space before tenant move in. The project consisted of a full gut of the interior and remodel, structurally upgrading 20% of the structure to allow for a vaulted 2 story boardroom/conference area and a modernization of the exterior which included two new entry canopies, sidewalks, parking lot renovation, restripe and decorative wood entry wall.
Even with a four week delay in receiving the building permit, DEB still turned over the project on-time.
Ground-up construction of new bank branch.
DEB Construction provided construction of a new high-end space banking center for US Bank in a historical Los Angeles building. Work included abatement, working in an operational building environment, and Department of Water & Power (DWP) coordination for shut downs of the city block to tie into antiquated electrical distribution equipment.
New barista-staffed coffee bar for the Aerospace Company en El Segundo. This project was completed in five (5) weeks in occupied space. The main cafeteria remained in operation during construction.
DEB Construction provided tenant improvements for the second Austin’s Playhouse for the Mario Lemieux Foundation. The project was part of the new naval hospital at Camp Pendleton and was completed in 3 weeks. DEB Construction completed the project under budget and donated the remainder of construction funds back to the Foundation.
JP Morgan Chase Branch in San Francisco includes interior tenant improvements in an existing building on the ground floor of 188 Spear Street. Technology utilized includes large video monitors, ADA scrim screen, 3 express-banking kiosks, instant issue machine, teller tablet, teller cash recycler, and Chase Private Client accommodations.

DEB Construction constructed the new ground-up banking center branch with affluent finishes and separate drive-through ATMs on the corner lot previously occupied by a gas station. Our scope included significant soils remediation and preparation due to a high underground water table, removal of existing gasoline tanks, and new footings and retaining walls along the backside of the property.
